Insurance & Fees
Transparent, straightforward information about the cost of care.
Canyon Lake Therapy is committed to making the financial side of therapy as clear and stress-free as possible. Here's everything you need to know about insurance, fees, and payment options.
Currently accepted insurance
Canyon Lake Therapy is in-network with the plans listed below. Your sessions may be covered at your in-network mental health benefit rate — typically a copay or coinsurance after your deductible.
Insurance panels change. Please contact us or verify directly with your insurer to confirm current in-network status before your first appointment.

Out-of-network & superbills
If your insurance plan is not listed above, you may still be able to use your out-of-network mental health benefits. Canyon Lake Therapy can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt with the diagnostic and procedure codes your insurer needs — which you can submit for reimbursement directly. Many PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of the session fee after your out-of-network deductible is met.
Check your benefits
Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, your deductible, and your reimbursement rate.
Pay at time of service
You pay the full session fee at the time of your appointment.
Receive your superbill
We provide a monthly superbill with all the information your insurer needs.
Submit for reimbursement
Submit the superbill to your insurer and receive reimbursement directly to you, typically within 2–4 weeks.
Session fees
The following fees apply to self-pay clients and to sessions applied toward an out-of-network deductible.
Fees are reviewed annually. Current fees are confirmed at the time of scheduling.
Sliding scale & reduced-fee options
A limited number of reduced-fee slots are available for clients who demonstrate financial need. Sliding scale fees are determined collaboratively based on income and household size. If cost is a barrier to care, please mention this when you reach out — we will do our best to find a workable arrangement or refer you to a lower-cost provider if we are unable to accommodate you.
Reduced-fee slots are limited and subject to availability. We encourage you to inquire early.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Canyon Lake Therapy accepts all major credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payment via the client portal. A valid credit card is required to hold your appointment.
Cancellation policy
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee, as that time cannot be offered to another client on short notice. We understand that emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible if something comes up.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care before your first appointment. This estimate will be provided in writing prior to your initial session. If you have questions about your estimate or believe there is an error, please contact us.
